A BRIEF HISTORY
The KNIFE WIELDER sculpt was first completed in October of 2001. The process took me just under two years to finish. This was sculpted from the ground up. No life casts, recasts, claypressing, or even conventional head, and neck armatures were used. This sculpt like all of my sculpts was 100% original. The molding procedure worked out extremely well in regards to mask size. The mother molds could accomodate a head size of up to 26 inches comfortably. The process of downsizing for the production molds was wide open. This also gave me alot of room for alteration, and recreation. The first production mold was made in late 2001. The second production mold was made in 2002. The third production mold was made in 2003. These three molds were made using the same original master copy. After the third mold was made. I decided to try something completely new. I made a new KNIFE WIELDER mastercopy, and then resculpted it out of rubber. This was the PROTO mastercopy. The KNIFE WIELDER PROTO mold was made in 2004. Taking into account the differences between the original KNIFE WIELDER sculpt, and the KNIFE WIELDER PROTO rubber sculpt. It would be pretty justifiable to consider the KNIFE WIELDER PROTO to be an all new sculpt. Sculpting the PROTO out of rubber was a huge undertaking. To the best of my knowledge sculpting a sculpt out of rubber rather than clay has not been done in this hobby before or since the KNIFE WIELDER. In 2008 I was considering ending the production of the KNIFE WIELDER at 69 masks in all. Back in 2001 I had originally planned on making 250 masks in all. However by 2008 I wasn't sure if I had the energy to keep making these masks. The PROTO mold would be the end of the line for the KNIFE WIELDER.
NOW
Due to a newly found burst of energy. I have decided to finish out the originally set production of the KNIFE WIELDER. In September of 2011 I rang in the 10th anniversary of the KNIFE WIELDER by making a new mold. I refer to this mold as the 2011. This mold again is based off of the PROTO. However this mold was made out of epoxical plastic. This mold won't deteriorate, or lose detail no matter how often, or how many times you cast from it. This time things are gonna be different. Now the KNIFE WIELDER will be available in three simple options. Deluxe, Economy, or Blank.

KNIFE WIELDER blank masks will range in quality on a scale of 1, 2, or 3.
1. Means the blank is the highest quality PROWLER PRODUCTIONS has to offer. Top of the line!
2. Means the blank is very good quality with the exception of very minor flaws.
3. Means the blank is usable quality with minor to major flaws.
The Prices for the blanks are as follows.
